This subject is under the major special projects of industrial application and exemplary development jointly organized by the General Office of National Development and Reform Commission and the General Office of the Ministry of Finance of PRC.

Based on the in-depth research on the technology of Beidou smart phones and the industrial development situation, the subject aims to develop technical standards and product testing systems for Beidou smart phones, build testing services platforms for Beidou smart phones with multiple modes, achieve comprehensive testing and verification for smart phones positioned by Beidou, support various testing such as the testing on R&D of terminal manufacturers, testing authorized by operators both in China and the foreign countries, the network access testing of mobile phone and type approval, meet the demand of industry and operating market and drive the fusion and development of the smartphone and Beidou navigation satellite industries in China.
