Wi-Fi Certification

The laboratory has successfully obtained the global Wi-Fi certified qualification in May 2012, and becomes the Wi-Fi Alliance Certification Test Laboratory which is able to test the interoperability, safety and reliability of the products based on Wi-Fi.

As the trademark of Wi-Fi Alliance’s manufacturer, Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity) can also be used as the brand certification of products. It aims to carry out the interoperability and compatibility certification of Wi-Fi products, and develop the WLAN technology based on IEEE802.11 standard on a global scale. At present, the certification types published by Wi-Fi Alliance include WPA/WPA2, WMM (Wi-Fi MultiMedia), WMM Power Save, WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), ASD (Application Specific Device), CWG (Converged Wireless Group), Wi-Fi Direct.
