The laboratory has obtained the qualification certificate of Bluetooth Qualification Test Facility (BQTF) on 4 December 2007. It has a perfect Bluetooth qualification test System which its testing capability covers multiple fields including RF, protocol and interoperability, etc. Moreover, it can carry out the RF and protocol test of Bluetooth V2.1+EDR/low energy, and satisfy all requirements of Bluetooth qualification test. What’s more, a Bluetooth qualification expert authorized by SIG organization can provide service on Bluetooth certification.
Bluetooth technology is a short range wireless communication standard, and was formulated jointly by the Special Interests Group (SIG) which is composed of Ericsson, Intel, Nokia, Toshiba and IBM in May 1998. SIG push out Bluetooth technology with a view to achieve the wireless communication with maximum date transmission rate of 1Mb/s (effective transmission rate of 721kb/s, and maximum date transmission distance of 10m，and then becomes to be the worldwide standard. Bluetooth technology is known as one of the most significant developments in wireless data communications field in recent years as its low-cost and low power consumption in Wireless Access.
So far, Bluetooth technology is approved as the only short range wireless technology which has a leadership position; it is widely used in individual network equipment such as mobile phone, personal computer, earphone and Car hands-free system, etc. As a result of Bluetooth technology is only design for individual network applications, it can be used for other new fields such as sensor scenarios, audio stream applications, multi-player online game and separate files sharing by means of technological improvement.
Owing to its ubiquitous application scenarios and well development tendency, a significant attention from IT industry and customers was given to it. Bluetooth technology and its application fields can be vaster with the participation of manufacturers of mobile telephone, PDA and household appliances. It apply to wireless devices (PDA, mobile phone), image processing equipments (camera, scanner), security products (smart card, identity recognition), consumption & entertainment (earphone, game), automobile products (GPS, dynamical system), household appliances (television, refrigerator), medical treatment, architecture and toys, etc.
